In Tiruppur, a free coaching class for students preparing for the Group-4 exam, organized by the district employment office, began yesterday. The Group-4 exam, which will be held in July, is for posts such as Village Administrative Officer, Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Typist, and Stenographer under the TNPSC. The coaching class aims to help students in the Tiruppur district to prepare for the upcoming exam.
In a ceremony held at the employment office, District Collector Christuraj launched the coaching classes. Addressing the students, he urged them to study with enthusiasm, take mock tests regularly, and analyze their mistakes by reviewing answer sheets. He emphasized that only through consistent effort and self-correction could students improve their chances of success. Currently, coaching centers are operational at two locations – the Collectorate complex and Udumalai, and a third center will soon begin in Gundatt.
The District Employment Officer, Sureshkumar, mentioned that 160 students have enrolled in the free coaching program, which will run for six months until June. The Group-4 exam will consist of 100 questions on General Tamil, 25 on Mathematics and Logical Reasoning, and 75 on General Knowledge. The total marks for the exam will be 300, with each question carrying 1.5 marks. Every 15 days, mock tests will be held to assess students' progress and identify areas for improvement.
