Keshavarajakuppam village, located in the Pallipattu Union, consists of over 300 homes. Situated near Nagari in Andhra Pradesh, this village faces a shortage of basic amenities, compelling villagers to travel daily to nearby towns like Pothaturpettai for essential supplies.
Over the years, the local Panchayat constructed a village service center on the Pothaturpettai main road, but for the past 10 years, this building has remained unused and in a dilapidated condition. The surrounding area is now overgrown with plants and shrubs, further discouraging any visitors to the site.
Residents of Keshavarajakuppam are increasingly frustrated with the situation. They have voiced the need for the building to be repurposed to serve the community's basic needs. They are requesting that the facility be turned into a library, a secondary healthcare center, or some other public service facility to benefit the village.
Currently, villagers need to travel to Nagari or Pothaturpettai for basic internet services, further highlighting the lack of essential facilities within Keshavarajakuppam. The local community is hopeful that authorities will take action to transform the unused building into a useful space that addresses their everyday needs.
