Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has reiterated the Indian government's commitment to national security, stating that actions like air strikes and Operation Sindoor are clear messages to any forces seeking to wage war against the country. His comments were made during a public address in Uttar Pradesh, where he spoke about India's strengthened defence posture under the current central leadership.

CM Yogi highlighted that India's military response in recent years has transformed from a reactive stance to a proactive strategy. Referring to cross-border air strikes and recent military operations, including the high-profile Operation Sindoor, he stated that such measures send a direct message to adversaries: India will not hesitate to defend itself.

Firm Stance Against Threats

"Those who try to impose war on the country should understand that India has changed. Today, we do not wait for an attack. We strike first if the nation’s security is threatened," the Chief Minister said. He credited the central government's policy reforms and military modernization initiatives for this strategic shift.

He also emphasized that the political will shown by the leadership at the centre has given armed forces the freedom and confidence to act decisively. According to him, this change in mindset has enhanced India’s global standing and deterrence capabilities.

Operation Sindoor as a Symbol of Strength

Referring specifically to Operation Sindoor, which involved coordinated defence actions by the Indian Armed Forces, Yogi Adityanath said the operation was a clear example of India's preparedness and response strategy. Although specific details of the operation were not disclosed during his speech, defence experts consider such missions as critical in deterring both cross-border and internal threats.

The Chief Minister remarked that these operations are not just tactical victories but also symbolic assertions of national pride and unity. "Every Indian feels safe today because our government has demonstrated that it will not bow down to any form of aggression," he said.

Tribute to Armed Forces

Yogi Adityanath also praised the Indian Armed Forces for their discipline, courage, and swift execution of complex operations. He acknowledged the sacrifices made by soldiers in safeguarding the country and assured that the state and central governments are committed to supporting military families and veterans.

The Chief Minister further urged citizens to remain vigilant and united, stating that national security is a shared responsibility. He concluded his speech by calling for continued support to the armed forces and applauding their role in preserving India's integrity and peace.

He credited the central government's policy reforms and military modernization initiatives for this strategic shift.
