In a strong accusation, Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal has alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is misusing police forces to derail the AAP’s election campaign and intimidate voters. Kejriwal claimed that these tactics were being employed to hinder AAP's efforts and influence voter decisions in favor of the BJP, ahead of the upcoming elections in the national capital.
Kejriwal’s statement comes at a time of heightened political activity and tension between the two parties. He emphasized that using state machinery for political gain undermines democracy and violates the principles of free and fair elections. The AAP leader also urged voters to remain vigilant and not be swayed by fear tactics employed by the ruling party.
The BJP has not yet officially responded to these allegations, but the accusations have stirred a significant political debate in Delhi. Both parties are engaged in a fierce contest for support, with each side accusing the other of unethical practices. As the election date draws closer, the political atmosphere in Delhi is expected to intensify.
These allegations of voter intimidation and police misuse have raised concerns among political analysts, calling for strict monitoring to ensure a transparent and peaceful electoral process.
