Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has confirmed that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will be allotted a government accommodation in the state soon. This announcement comes after Kejriwal’s recent visit to Haryana for official engagements, during which the need for providing government accommodation was discussed.
Khattar highlighted that the allocation of the government accommodation to Kejriwal is in accordance with the norms and protocols for officials visiting from other states for official work. The decision comes amid ongoing political dynamics and discussions between the ruling BJP in Haryana and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led by Kejriwal.
The move to provide Kejriwal with government accommodation is seen as a gesture of cooperation between the two state governments, despite the political differences. Khattar emphasized that the decision is part of Haryana’s commitment to ensuring the comfort and ease of visiting dignitaries while maintaining respect for official processes.
Arvind Kejriwal, who has been active in strengthening his party’s presence in states like Haryana, has also been vocal about issues related to governance and development. This decision to allot him a government residence is being seen as a step towards facilitating smoother administrative interactions.
With both the BJP and AAP eyeing political gains in Haryana, this move also signals an effort to manage the political dynamics while ensuring that official matters are not hindered by unnecessary protocol issues.
