Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has strongly endorsed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent address to the nation, describing it as a clear and decisive declaration of India’s firm policy against terrorism. He stated that the speech not only highlighted the government’s commitment to national security but also sent a powerful message to the global community regarding India’s zero-tolerance approach towards terror activities.
Addressing the media after the Prime Minister’s speech, CM Yogi said that under Modi’s leadership, India is no longer a passive observer but an assertive nation ready to take strong action against any threat to its sovereignty and safety. “The Prime Minister’s statement is a reflection of the new India, which does not compromise on national security and is prepared to act firmly against terrorism and those who aid it,” the Chief Minister said.
CM Yogi further added that the days of silent diplomacy and tolerance towards cross-border terrorism are over. “The message is loud and clear — those who support, fund, or shelter terrorism will face the consequences,” he said. He praised the Prime Minister’s vision of a secure and self-reliant India and urged citizens to stand united against any divisive forces.
The Chief Minister also highlighted the strategic and military capabilities of India, asserting that the country has the strength, leadership, and resolve to defend its interests. “This is not just a statement; it is a roadmap of action and resolve. Our armed forces, security agencies, and the government are aligned in their mission to protect India,” he added.
Yogi Adityanath pointed out that in the last decade, India has seen a transformation in its counter-terrorism policy. With increased border vigilance, intelligence coordination, and rapid-response systems in place, the country is better prepared to deal with threats than ever before. He also referenced the government’s efforts to isolate terror-sponsoring countries at international forums.
The Chief Minister appealed to political parties and citizens alike to avoid politicizing national security issues. “Terrorism affects every Indian, regardless of religion or region. This is a time for unity, not division,” he said.
