The former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister had also raised concerns about Congress's role, emphasizing the need for all partners to work together cohesively.

In a fresh turn of events within the opposition INDIA alliance, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has joined Jammu and Kashmir’s Omar Abdullah in demanding clarity on the future of the coalition. Speaking to the media, Raut pointed to the Congress party's leadership as being primarily responsible for the uncertainty surrounding the alliance's direction and unity.

Raut’s comments come after a series of developments within the INDIA bloc, with several opposition leaders expressing dissatisfaction with Congress's approach to key issues. The alliance, formed to challenge the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the upcoming elections, has faced internal tensions, particularly over seat-sharing and leadership roles.

"Congress needs to address concerns and provide clarity on where the INDIA alliance is headed," Raut stated, echoing Abdullah’s earlier remarks. The former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister had also raised concerns about Congress's role, emphasizing the need for all partners to work together cohesively.

The INDIA alliance, which includes several opposition parties like the Trinamool Congress (TMC), Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), and others, was initially seen as a potential force to challenge the BJP in the next general elections. However, recent disagreements over strategies and the Congress party’s role in the alliance have sparked doubts about its ability to maintain unity.

Political analysts suggest that these developments could impact the opposition’s prospects, as fragmented leadership and unclear strategies often hinder electoral success. The future of the INDIA alliance now hangs in the balance as Congress faces increasing pressure from its allies to take decisive action.

Raut’s comments, following Abdullah’s earlier calls for action, highlight the growing concern within the opposition ranks. With national elections on the horizon, the clarity on the INDIA bloc's unity and strategy will play a crucial role in determining its strength and effectiveness.

Speaking to the media, Raut pointed to the Congress party's leadership as being primarily responsible for the uncertainty surrounding the alliance's direction and unity.
