Manish Sisodia, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, has strongly criticized BJP leader Manoj Tiwari for circulating a misleading video of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The video, which was shared by Tiwari, purportedly showed Kejriwal making controversial statements, but Sisodia accused the BJP of misrepresenting the facts and misleading the public.
In a sharp retort, Sisodia referred to the actions of Tiwari and his party as “drunk constitution writers,” implying that their attempts to distort facts were reckless and irresponsible. Sisodia further added that such attempts to malign Kejriwal’s image were not only baseless but also a deliberate attempt to divert attention from the BJP’s own failures in governance.
The controversy stems from a video in which Arvind Kejriwal allegedly made remarks that were later interpreted as controversial. However, Kejriwal’s supporters and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, including Sisodia, have vehemently denied the claims and demanded that Tiwari and the BJP clarify their stance on the matter. Sisodia called for an immediate apology from Tiwari for spreading misleading information that had created unnecessary confusion.
The video controversy has further intensified the ongoing war of words between the ruling AAP in Delhi and the opposition BJP. Sisodia’s comments were a direct attack on the BJP’s credibility, calling out the party for using misleading tactics to undermine the Delhi government and Kejriwal’s leadership. Sisodia also accused the BJP of distracting the public from the key issues facing the nation, such as inflation, unemployment, and governance.
Manoj Tiwari, however, has yet to issue a response to the allegations made by Sisodia, leaving the issue unresolved for now. This incident is the latest in a series of public spats between the AAP and the BJP, with both parties engaged in a fierce political rivalry, especially in the lead-up to future elections.
As the debate continues to unfold, political analysts believe that this controversy over the misleading video will further fuel the already intense rivalry between the two parties. The public now awaits further clarification from both sides as they continue to spar over the issue.
