Former Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader K Kavitha has announced her intention to launch a new political party in Telangana in the near future. The announcement comes shortly after a Delhi court discharged her in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy case. Kavitha shared this update while visiting the Tirupati Balaji Temple in Tirumala where she offered prayers and expressed gratitude for what she described as divine blessings during a challenging phase of her political career.
K Kavitha is the daughter of former Telangana Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi founder K Chandrashekhar Rao. She has been an active figure in Telangana politics and has previously served as a Member of Parliament. Her announcement signals a possible shift in the political landscape of the state as she prepares to form a separate regional platform.
While speaking to media during her temple visit Kavitha stated that she hopes to launch the new party soon with the blessings of Lord Balaji. According to her the party will focus on the development and welfare of the people of Telangana. She said the aim of the new political organization will be to address regional issues and represent the aspirations of the state’s citizens.
The announcement comes after a Delhi court discharged Kavitha along with former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and several others in the Delhi Excise Policy case. The case had attracted significant political attention across the country. Kavitha maintained that the allegations against her were part of a larger political campaign against opposition leaders.
During her remarks she criticized the Union government and alleged that central investigative agencies were used to target political opponents. She described the actions taken against her as a form of discrimination and a witch hunt. According to Kavitha the entire nation witnessed how opposition leaders were subjected to investigations and legal scrutiny through various agencies.
Despite the controversies surrounding the case Kavitha expressed confidence about her future political plans. She stated that the proposed party will prioritize regional interests and will aim to strengthen democratic representation in Telangana. Observers believe that the formation of a new political party by Kavitha could influence political alignments in the state particularly with upcoming electoral contests.
Political analysts note that Telangana has seen significant political developments in recent years with multiple parties competing for influence. Kavitha’s decision to form a new party could create fresh political debates and alliances depending on how the party positions itself among existing political forces.
For now Kavitha has not announced the name of the party or the timeline for its official launch. However she indicated that preparations are underway and that the announcement will be made soon. Her supporters believe that the new party could bring a renewed focus on regional governance and development issues in Telangana.
As political activity in the state continues to evolve Kavitha’s upcoming move will be closely watched by both supporters and political observers across the country.
