The National Democratic Alliance has officially passed a resolution commending the successful execution of Operation Sindoor and Operation Mahadev, calling them examples of India's evolving strength in matters of national security and strategic planning. The resolution was adopted during a high-level meeting of alliance partners in the national capital, where leaders took note of the timely and effective outcomes of both operations.
According to the NDA’s resolution, Operation Sindoor demonstrated India's ability to carry out high-risk humanitarian and security missions with precision and efficiency. It praised the armed forces and intelligence agencies for their exceptional coordination, planning, and execution. Though specific details of the operation remain classified, it has been reported that Operation Sindoor involved the safe evacuation and protection of Indian citizens from a high-tension region abroad, under challenging circumstances.
Operation Mahadev, meanwhile, was recognised for its role in strengthening internal security and counter-terrorism measures. The resolution applauded the efforts of security forces in dismantling networks that posed a threat to national stability. Leaders described the operation as a firm response to those attempting to disrupt peace within the country and said it reflects India’s proactive approach to safeguarding its territory.
The NDA’s statement praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior officials for their leadership and strategic direction. Alliance members credited the government's strong national security framework and decisive political will as crucial elements behind the successful outcomes of these missions. They also noted that both operations were carried out with minimal risk to civilians, reflecting a commitment to humane and ethical military conduct.
Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who were present at the meeting, provided briefings to alliance members on the scope, planning, and execution of both operations. Without disclosing operational specifics, they underlined how inter-agency coordination and technological support played a key role in mission success.
The resolution also stressed the importance of maintaining operational readiness and supporting India’s defence and intelligence institutions. NDA partners unanimously supported increased investments in modernising security infrastructure and enhancing training for security personnel to face evolving threats both regionally and globally.
Several regional leaders of the alliance, including representatives from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra, expressed their appreciation for the central government’s swift response to emerging challenges. They said the people of India have greater confidence in the country's defence preparedness due to such successful missions.
Political analysts see the resolution as a reaffirmation of the NDA’s focus on national security ahead of upcoming legislative sessions. It also sends a strong message of unity within the alliance on matters of strategic importance.
As the country faces complex regional dynamics and evolving global threats, the NDA's support for these operations signals continued emphasis on proactive defence policies and a secure India. The resolution concluded with a call for public recognition of the bravery and professionalism of the personnel involved in both operations.
