The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled its list of 40 star campaigners for the upcoming Jammu & Kashmir elections, featuring prominent leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. The list highlights the BJP's determination to make a significant impact in the region, with Modi and Shah spearheading efforts to connect with voters and promote the party's vision for development and security in the union territory.
The inclusion of both Modi and Shah signals the BJP’s high stakes in the region, as the party seeks to solidify its presence following the abrogation of Article 370, which revoked Jammu & Kashmir's special status in 2019. The BJP is expected to focus on issues of national security, economic development, and the region’s integration into India’s mainstream political landscape.
Alongside the top leadership, the campaign will feature senior BJP figures such as party president J.P. Nadda, Union ministers, and local leaders, all of whom are set to address rallies and public meetings across the region. The campaign strategy will emphasize the BJP’s efforts to bring stability, development, and investment to Jammu & Kashmir while promoting the party’s broader agenda of strengthening national unity.
As the elections approach, the BJP’s star campaigners will aim to counter opposition narratives and reach out to voters across diverse communities in the region. The election is seen as a crucial test for the BJP’s policies in Jammu & Kashmir, and the involvement of key leaders like Modi and Shah reflects the party's commitment to securing a strong mandate.
