Prime Minister Narendra Modi has escalated his political rhetoric against the Congress party, accusing them of repeatedly undermining the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution. In a series of pointed remarks, Modi presented a list of alleged attacks by the Congress towards Ambedkar, claiming that the party had failed to honor his contributions to Indian society and governance.

Modi’s comments, made during a recent public address, highlighted what he described as a sustained effort by the Congress to diminish the importance of Ambedkar in India’s political and social history. The Prime Minister further emphasized that the Congress party had a long history of sidelining Ambedkar’s ideals and disregarding his work for the upliftment of marginalized communities.

The Prime Minister also called upon the people to recognize these alleged misdeeds and vote against a party that, in his view, had consistently belittled one of India’s greatest leaders. His remarks are seen as a direct appeal to Ambedkar’s supporters and voters in the upcoming elections.

This criticism of Congress comes as the opposition party prepares for upcoming state and national elections, and it adds to the ongoing political tensions in the country. Modi’s attacks on Congress, especially related to Ambedkar’s legacy, are likely to dominate political discourse in the coming weeks as the debate intensifies.

While Congress has not yet responded to Modi's allegations, the charge is expected to further polarize the political debate, with both parties trying to claim the mantle of Dr. Ambedkar’s legacy for their own.
