The rally was part of a broader campaign by the BJP to consolidate its support in Jammu and Kashmir, where the party hopes to make significant gains in the upcoming elections, following its efforts to strengthen governance and bring development to the region since the revocation of the special status in 2019.

During a fiery rally in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a sharp attack on what he called the "three political dynasties" that have historically ruled the region, blaming them for the longstanding underdevelopment and instability in the Union Territory. Modi referred to these political families as responsible for the "sins" that have kept J&K from achieving its full potential.

Without naming them directly, PM Modi’s comments were seen as a clear reference to the Abdullahs, Muftis, and Gandhis, who have been prominent in Jammu and Kashmir’s political landscape for decades. He accused these families of prioritizing their own interests over the welfare of the people and perpetuating corruption, inefficiency, and lack of development.

"Their politics is focused on their families, not on the common people. They have committed many sins against Jammu and Kashmir by keeping the region backward. The upcoming elections will give you the power to decide the future of this beautiful region," said Modi, as the crowd cheered.

The Prime Minister highlighted the efforts of his government in bringing positive change to Jammu and Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370, stressing that development projects, improved infrastructure, and enhanced security have been key achievements. He urged the people to break away from dynastic politics and vote for a government that would ensure peace, progress, and prosperity.

"Elections will decide the fate of Jammu and Kashmir. Will you choose to continue being exploited by a few families, or will you choose development, jobs, and a brighter future for your children?" Modi asked, underlining the importance of the upcoming elections as a turning point for the region.

The Prime Minister also spoke about the challenges of terrorism and separatism, asserting that his government has taken firm steps to eradicate these threats and restore normalcy. He called upon the youth to reject violence and separatist propaganda, encouraging them to participate in the democratic process and contribute to nation-building.

PM Modi’s speech has set the tone for what is expected to be a high-stakes election in Jammu and Kashmir, where political allegiances run deep. As the battle lines are drawn, both the BJP and the regional parties are preparing for a heated contest that will shape the future of the region.
