He claimed that the Prime Minister has often made promises that have either remained unfulfilled or were aimed at diverting public attention from critical issues such as unemployment, inflation, and rural distress.

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and Member of Parliament Sanjay Raut has announced the agenda for the upcoming INDIA bloc meeting to be held on August 7. Speaking to reporters, Raut stated that the alliance of opposition parties will focus on several critical political and national issues, including what he described as misleading claims made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the mysterious “Operation Sindoor,” and the evolving political developments in Bihar.

Raut emphasized that the INDIA bloc is determined to present a united front in the face of what it sees as increasing centralization of power and erosion of democratic institutions under the current government. According to him, the meeting will serve as a platform to discuss coordinated strategies for countering the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in upcoming state and national elections.

Referring to Prime Minister Modi’s public speeches and policy announcements, Raut alleged that many of them are misleading or do not reflect the ground reality. He claimed that the Prime Minister has often made promises that have either remained unfulfilled or were aimed at diverting public attention from critical issues such as unemployment, inflation, and rural distress.

The term “Operation Sindoor,” which Raut referenced, is believed to relate to behind-the-scenes political maneuvering involving attempts to destabilize opposition-led state governments. While details were not explicitly shared, he hinted that internal briefings and intelligence within the opposition suggest coordinated efforts to weaken regional parties.

Another major point of discussion in the meeting, according to Raut, will be the situation in Bihar, where political shifts and alliances have taken center stage in recent weeks. The INDIA bloc is expected to assess its strategy in the state, which holds significant political importance, especially ahead of the 2025 Assembly elections.

Raut also said that the INDIA bloc will discuss policies and campaign themes centered on social justice, economic recovery, and protection of constitutional values. He added that the alliance would work toward setting a common minimum program that appeals to the broad spectrum of voters across states.

The Shiv Sena leader also criticized what he called the misuse of investigative agencies for political gain. He alleged that opposition leaders are being selectively targeted through tax and legal cases in an attempt to silence dissent.

The August 7 meeting is expected to be attended by senior leaders from Congress, Trinamool Congress, Aam Aadmi Party, DMK, Samajwadi Party, and other regional allies. Key decisions on seat-sharing, joint campaigns, and media outreach are likely to be finalized during this session.

Raut concluded by stating that the INDIA bloc is not just an electoral alliance but a movement to reclaim democratic values and restore balance in Indian politics. He reiterated the need for transparency, accountability, and policies that prioritize the interests of the common citizen.

Speaking to reporters, Raut stated that the alliance of opposition parties will focus on several critical political and national issues, including what he described as misleading claims made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the mysterious “Operation Sindoor,” and the evolving political developments in Bihar.
