For Indian javelin thrower Yashvir Singh, a phone call from Neeraj Chopra turned into an unexpected opportunity to compete at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi Nagoya.
Yashvir recently recalled how he was resting at his home in Jaipur after a training session with his father, Rai Singh, when his phone rang. The caller was none other than Neeraj Chopra, the Olympic champion and one of India’s leading javelin throwers.
