Google has unveiled a new subscription option called Google One Lite in India, catering to users who require more storage than the 15 GB provided with standard Google Accounts but are looking for a more budget-friendly solution. Previously, users could choose from Google One’s yearly or monthly plans starting at ₹130 per month, which offered 100 GB of additional storage.
The newly introduced Google One Lite plan aims to address the needs of users who want extra storage without the higher cost. This plan offers a more affordable alternative, making it easier for users to access additional storage at a lower price. Google is rolling out this plan selectively across India, gradually making it available to a broader audience.
The Google One Lite plan is expected to appeal to those who need more space for their files, photos, and backups but prefer a more economical option. Stay tuned for more details on availability and pricing as the rollout continues.
