Honor recently launched the Honor 200 series smartphones in India, and the Honor 200 Pro has now received its second major update. This update introduces several new features aimed at enhancing user experience, including AI Eraser and Face-to-Face translation. AI Eraser allows users to remove unwanted elements from photos with ease, while Face-to-Face translation supports multiple languages, offering voice and text input options.
Additional updates include the ability to save app combinations in split-screen mode for quick access and expanded support for third-party apps on Magic Portal. The update also brings improvements to the notification panel layout, optimizes camera shooting effects, and reduces power consumption in various scenarios.
The update, identified by firmware version 8.0.0.162(C675E7R2P2), has a download size of 1.27GB and includes the September 2024 Android security patch. It enhances system performance and stability, requires user authentication for switching USB connection purposes, and improves the overall stability of the device.
To access these new features, users can go to Gallery > Select a photo > Edit > AI Eraser for image editing, and Settings > Assistant > Face-to-Face Translation for translation services. The update aims to provide a smoother and more secure experience on the Honor 200 Pro.
