The Xiaomi 14T series is slated for launch on September 26 in Berlin, marking the next iteration following the Xiaomi 13T series that debuted in November 2023. The new smartphones are anticipated to bring advanced artificial intelligence (AI) features, including the Circle to Search tool, which enables users to visually search for text by circling it on the screen. This feature, introduced with the Galaxy S24 series in January and subsequently rolled out to Google Pixel phones, will now be available on the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro.
The Circle to Search function can be activated by long-pressing the home button or navigation pill, allowing users to highlight text and perform web searches. Additionally, the Xiaomi 14T series is expected to include several other AI-driven features: AI Notes for summarizing and translating notes, AI Interpreter for real-time translation during conversations, AI Subtitles for enhanced accessibility, and AI Voice Recorder for improved voice recording capabilities.
According to leaked promotional materials, the Xiaomi 14T will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset, complemented by 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of expandable storage via microSD. The device will also feature a 5,000mAh battery with 45W HyperCharge technology, enabling a full charge in approximately 45 minutes.
