In a sharp critique of Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, BJP Member of Parliament Manoj Tiwari has alleged that she is simply a "puppet" controlled by Delhi's Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

In a sharp critique of Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, BJP Member of Parliament Manoj Tiwari has alleged that she is simply a "puppet" controlled by Delhi's Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Tiwari's comments come in response to Atishi’s recent remarks about governance and policy decisions made under her leadership.

According to Tiwari, Atishi has been ineffective in making independent decisions and is merely executing orders from Kejriwal. The BJP MP asserted that this undermines the credibility of the Delhi government and the democratic process, as it reflects a lack of leadership from Atishi herself. He further emphasized that Atishi’s leadership style, which he believes is heavily influenced by Kejriwal, fails to address the real issues facing Delhiites.

Atishi, who is seen as a prominent figure in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has yet to respond to Tiwari’s allegations. Her critics, including several BJP leaders, have often questioned her autonomy, particularly when it comes to major decisions related to Delhi's governance.

Tiwari’s criticism reflects the ongoing political rivalry between AAP and BJP in Delhi, with both parties frequently trading barbs over governance issues. The BJP has accused the Delhi government of being more focused on political posturing than on addressing the pressing concerns of the citizens, particularly in areas like education, healthcare, and public services.

In his remarks, Tiwari urged Delhi voters to recognize the lack of independent leadership in the current AAP government and promised that the BJP would offer a more accountable and responsive administration. His comments are likely to intensify the political battle as the city heads towards the next elections, with both AAP and BJP striving to capture the public's trust.
