In a recent announcement, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for registration to its PhD programmes. The decision to extend the deadline comes as a relief to many aspiring students who were unable to complete their applications within the original timeframe.
The new deadline gives applicants more time to submit their forms for admission to a variety of doctoral courses offered by the university. IGNOU, known for its extensive distance learning offerings, has opened up numerous PhD programmes in disciplines ranging from social sciences to education, management, and more.
This extension allows prospective candidates to ensure that all necessary documentation is in place before submitting their applications. Students are encouraged to check the official IGNOU website for detailed instructions on eligibility criteria, the application process, and the updated schedule for entrance exams, if applicable.
PhD programmes at IGNOU offer flexibility for students who wish to pursue advanced studies while balancing professional or personal commitments. With the extended deadline, more individuals will have the chance to apply for these prestigious academic opportunities.
