As India prepares for Republic Day celebrations in 2025, the much-awaited parade in New Delhi is expected to be a major highlight. For those wishing to witness the grand spectacle, tickets will be available for purchase through both online and offline methods. The Government of India has outlined clear procedures for ticket distribution, ensuring a smooth and accessible process for all attendees.
Online Ticket Purchase
To buy Republic Day Parade tickets online, individuals can visit the official website of the Ministry of Defence or designated government portals. The online sale will begin a few weeks before the Republic Day event. Applicants will need to register on the website and select the desired parade day, seating area, and ticket type. Payments can be made securely via digital payment methods, and tickets will be issued in electronic format.
Offline Ticket Purchase
For those who prefer to purchase tickets in person, offline sales will be available at specific designated counters in New Delhi. Tickets can be bought at these locations, and there may be a fixed time window for the distribution. It is advisable to visit the designated sale points early, as tickets are often in high demand.
Ticket Availability and Pricing
Ticket prices vary based on seating arrangements and the type of view selected. The most premium tickets, which provide closer views of the parade, may be priced higher, while general seating tickets will be more affordable. The tickets are typically available for civilians, as well as government employees and their families, depending on eligibility criteria.
Guidelines and Restrictions
Attendees are advised to familiarize themselves with security and entry guidelines before purchasing tickets. Certain items, such as large bags and sharp objects, are prohibited in the parade area. It is also important to note that entry is allowed only on the designated date and time mentioned on the ticket.
Republic Day 2025 will be a historic event, marking India's achievements and military prowess. Whether you are planning to attend the parade in person or simply enjoy the festivities from home, securing your tickets early is recommended to ensure you don’t miss out on this iconic celebration.
