India has strongly rejected Pakistan's remarks on Jammu and Kashmir during a recent United Nations forum, reiterating that the region remains an integral part of the country and is strictly an internal matter. The response was delivered by India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish, following comments made by Pakistan's Permanent Representative, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad.
