Veteran choreographer Bosco Martis has spoken about the frequent comparisons between actors Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan, urging audiences to give Tiger sufficient time and opportunities to carve his own path in the film industry. Bosco shared his views during an interaction with Zoom TV.
Tiger Shroff has often acknowledged Hrithik Roshan as his inspiration and mentor. Their professional association was prominently seen in the 2019 action thriller War, where both actors shared screen space. The film featured the popular Holi track Jai Jai Shiv Shankar, choreographed by Bosco Martis, which brought the two actors together in a high energy dance sequence.
In the interview, Bosco addressed the ongoing comparisons between the two performers. He noted that audiences often draw parallels between established stars and emerging actors but emphasised that every artist requires time to grow. According to Bosco, Hrithik Roshan himself evolved over years of consistent work, and Tiger Shroff should be given a similar opportunity to mature as a performer.
Bosco highlighted Tiger’s dedication to his craft, particularly praising his dance skills and physical abilities. He mentioned Tiger’s acrobatic strength, agility and commitment to rehearsals, describing him as passionate about every project he undertakes. Bosco also stated that Tiger brings sincerity and discipline to his performances, qualities that contribute to his screen presence.
Beyond War, Bosco and Tiger have collaborated on multiple occasions. Most recently, the choreographer worked with Tiger on the music video Downtown. Their professional association reflects a continued creative partnership built on mutual respect and shared artistic vision.
Tiger Shroff gained recognition for his performances in action oriented films and dance based roles. Over the years, he has developed a reputation for executing complex stunts and high energy choreography. Hrithik Roshan, widely regarded as one of Bollywood’s accomplished dancers, has similarly earned acclaim for his performances across genres. Comparisons between the two actors often stem from their strong dance backgrounds and action sequences.
Bosco’s remarks underline the broader conversation about allowing artists space to develop without constant comparison. Industry observers frequently note that careers in cinema unfold over time, shaped by diverse roles and evolving audience expectations.
While acknowledging Tiger’s admiration for Hrithik, Bosco emphasised that the younger actor brings his own style and individuality to performances. He suggested that audiences focus on appreciating each artist’s strengths rather than measuring them against one another.
As Tiger continues to take on new projects, industry professionals believe that consistent screen exposure and varied roles will further define his artistic identity. Bosco Martis’s comments reflect support for nurturing emerging talent and recognising the distinct journeys of performers in the competitive film industry.
