Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3 The Conclusion has continued its impressive run at the worldwide box office and is now within striking distance of the Rs 300 crore milestone. The third and final instalment of the popular Hindi crime thriller franchise has received a strong response from audiences since its theatrical release on October 2, 2026.
According to reported trade figures, Drishyam 3 collected Rs 176.50 crore net in India during its first three days. Its India gross collection stood at around Rs 211.80 crore, while the film earned approximately Rs 61 crore from overseas markets. Together, these figures took its worldwide gross to around Rs 272.80 crore after the opening weekend.
The latest performance places the film less than Rs 30 crore away from the Rs 300 crore worldwide mark. If the movie maintains its momentum during the first week, it is expected to reach the milestone soon. Reports on the fourth day of its theatrical run also indicated that the film was simultaneously moving towards the Rs 200 crore net milestone in India.
Drishyam 3 The Conclusion is directed by Abhishek Pathak and features Ajay Devgn in the lead role as Vijay Salgaonkar. Tabu, Shriya Saran and other returning members of the franchise are also part of the film, while Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj have joined the cast for the latest chapter.
The film opened strongly on its first day, collecting Rs 62 crore net in India. It followed this with Rs 53.50 crore on the second day before recording another strong Rs 61 crore on Sunday. This took its three-day India net total to Rs 176.50 crore.
The opening weekend has also helped Drishyam 3 establish several career and franchise records for Ajay Devgn. India Today reported that the film recorded the biggest three-day opening of the actor’s career. Its performance also placed it among the fastest Hindi films to enter major domestic collection milestones.
The film crossed the Rs 100 crore net mark in India within two days. By the end of the third day, it had moved well beyond the Rs 150 crore level. Its overseas performance added further strength to the worldwide total, with international markets contributing approximately Rs 61 crore during the first three days.
The success is particularly significant for the Drishyam franchise because the third film is being presented as its concluding chapter. The earlier Hindi films established Vijay Salgaonkar as one of the most recognisable characters in the crime thriller genre, while the franchise developed a strong following through its suspense-driven storytelling and focus on family and survival.
Drishyam 3 continues the story of Vijay Salgaonkar and his family as they face another major challenge involving the Goa police. The film expands the franchise with new characters while retaining the central cast and the themes of investigation, secrecy and family protection.
The strong opening suggests that the franchise has retained its audience appeal several years after the previous instalment. The film also benefited from the Gandhi Jayanti holiday period, which helped drive strong audience turnout during its opening weekend.
With a worldwide gross of around Rs 272.80 crore after three days, Drishyam 3 The Conclusion is now firmly positioned to cross Rs 300 crore globally if its theatrical momentum remains steady. The next few days will be important in determining how quickly it reaches the milestone and how high its final worldwide collection can go.
The film’s performance will also be closely watched in the context of the 2026 Hindi film box office. It has already emerged as one of the strongest performers of the year and has surpassed several major releases in terms of its opening weekend collection.
For Ajay Devgn, the film’s early box office performance represents another major commercial achievement. As the concluding chapter of one of his most successful franchises, Drishyam 3 has combined audience familiarity with a new theatrical story and has converted that interest into strong ticket sales.
The immediate target is now the Rs 300 crore worldwide mark. With the film already approaching Rs 273 crore after only three days, the milestone appears within reach. Its eventual lifetime collection will depend on weekday performance, audience response during the first week and competition from other theatrical releases.
