A tweet claiming to show actor Akshaye Khanna reacting to the box office success of Dhurandhar has been widely circulated on social media, leading to speculation about whether the actor has finally joined the platform X. The post, which thanks fans for their support and appreciation, has gained traction among users following the film’s strong theatrical performance.
However, a closer examination raises questions about the authenticity of the tweet. Akshaye Khanna is widely known for maintaining a low public profile and staying away from social media platforms. Over the years, the actor has consistently avoided personal accounts on platforms such as X, Instagram, or Facebook, choosing instead to keep his interactions limited to film promotions and public appearances.
The account from which the viral tweet originated does not carry a verification badge or any official confirmation linking it to Akshaye Khanna. There has also been no statement from the actor or his representatives acknowledging the post or confirming that he is active on the platform. This has led many fans and media observers to question whether the tweet is genuine or posted by an impersonator.
Several users pointed out inconsistencies in the account’s activity, noting that it lacks historical engagement or credible links to official film promotions. This further strengthens doubts regarding the legitimacy of the profile. In the past, similar instances have been reported where fake accounts impersonated public figures, especially during periods of heightened attention such as successful film releases.
Dhurandhar, which features Akshaye Khanna alongside Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and others, has been performing strongly at the box office. As the film continues to receive attention, several actors associated with the project have been in the spotlight, making it more likely for misleading content to spread online.
Industry observers emphasize the importance of verifying information before sharing it on social media. Public figures, particularly those not active online, are often subject to impersonation. Fans are advised to look for verification markers, official confirmations, or statements from trusted sources before accepting such claims as true.
At present, there is no confirmed evidence that Akshaye Khanna has posted the viral tweet or that he operates an official account on X. Until an official clarification is issued, the post should be treated with caution. The incident highlights the growing challenge of misinformation and impersonation on social media platforms, especially during high-profile entertainment events.
In conclusion, while the tweet has attracted widespread attention, available information suggests it is unlikely to have been posted by Akshaye Khanna himself. Readers are encouraged to rely on verified accounts and official statements for accurate updates regarding public figures and their reactions.
