Mumbai Police have arrested actor and social media personality Kamaal R Khan, popularly known as KRK, in connection with a firing incident reported at a residential building in the Oshiwara area of Mumbai. The incident came to light earlier this month, following complaints from residents who reported hearing gunshots in the vicinity.
According to police officials, Khan allegedly fired four rounds using his licensed firearm. The Oshiwara Police detained him on January 23 as part of the investigation, and his formal arrest was carried out on the morning of January 24. Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported as a result of the firing.
Police sources stated that during questioning, Khan admitted to discharging the firearm but claimed that he did not intend to harm anyone. Officials have emphasized that the matter is under investigation and that all legal procedures are being followed in accordance with the law.
The firearm used in the incident has been seized, and forensic examination is expected to be conducted to determine further details.
