The Impact of Badrinath Ki Dulhania
Badrinath Ki Dulhania was the second installment in the Dulhania franchise, following the success of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014). The film beautifully blended romance with humor while addressing the issue of gender equality and women’s independence. The film received positive reviews from both critics and audiences, grossing over ₹200 crore worldwide. Songs like Tamma Tamma Again, Aashiq Surrender Hua, and Humsafar became chartbusters, further cementing the film’s legacy in Bollywood.
