Vedang Raina, who made his cinematic debut with The Archies, a film directed by Zoya Akhtar and released on OTT in December last year, went on to star in Zigra, a film featuring Alia Bhatt. The movie, which centers around sibling love, was released on November 11 but unfortunately underperformed at the box office.
In a recent interview, Vedang openly discussed the failure of the film and his feelings about it. Reflecting on his experience, he said, “As an actor, when you dedicate an entire year to a film, you naturally hope for it to be embraced and celebrated by the audience. That’s what I expected as well. But when things don’t go as planned, you ask yourself, ‘What could I have done better to make it work?’ This self-reflection is what helps you overcome the disappointment and learn from it.”
Vedang’s candid approach to the failure highlights the emotional journey actors go through when a film doesn’t meet expectations. His ability to reflect on his work and look for ways to improve shows his maturity as an actor. Despite the setback, Vedang remains hopeful and focused on his growth in the industry, eager to take on new challenges in his career.
