The highly anticipated trailer for Aindham Vedham, a new series from the director of Marmadesam, L Nagarajan, was unveiled by Vijay Sethupathi on Friday. Starring Sai Dhansika and Santosh Pratap in lead roles, the series is set to premiere on ZEE5 on October 25.
Aindham Vedham centers on Anu, portrayed by Dhansika, who embarks on a poignant journey to Varanasi to perform her mother's last rites. During her travels, she encounters a mysterious figure who entrusts her with an ancient relic, urging her to deliver it to a priest in Tamil Nadu. This relic holds the key to uncovering the secrets of the elusive Fifth Veda.
Though reluctant, Anu is compelled by fate to accept this responsibility. Her mission leads her to a village filled with hidden agendas and rising tensions. As she navigates this dangerous path, she soon realizes that others are equally desperate to claim the relic, resulting in a series of deadly confrontations. With time running out and an unknown entity pursuing her, Anu must race against the clock to fulfill her mission and escape the encroaching danger.
The trailer showcases Dhansika grappling with the weight of her newfound responsibility, as she becomes a target for those seeking the coveted relic. Despite her attempts to escape the burden, supernatural elements appear to thwart her efforts.
The series also features a talented ensemble cast, including Vivek Rajagopal, YG Mahendran, Ponvannan, Krisha Kurup, Ramji, Devadarshini, and Mathew Varghese in prominent roles. The technical team comprises cinematographer Srinivasan Devarajan, music by Revaa, and editing by Rejeesh MR, promising a visually and sonically engaging experience for viewers.
