The upcoming film Vettaiyan is generating significant buzz with the reveal of Amitabh Bachchan’s character, Sathyadev, marking his return to the screen alongside Rajinikanth after a 33-year gap. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the movie will release on October 10 across multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.
Vettaiyan reunites two cinematic legends, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan, who last appeared together in Hum (1991). Before that, they shared the screen in Andha Kanoon (1983) and Geraftaar (1985). Their return to the big screen has excited fans, as it’s the first collaboration between the two stars in over three decades.
