Actor Arjun Das has made an exciting announcement that he is joining the cast of Ajith Kumar's much-anticipated film Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran. Sharing his thoughts on this significant opportunity, Arjun recalled his journey in the film industry, reflecting on his early days in Chennai when he dreamt of acting. He revealed that he started working in the PR team D'One, led by Suresh Chandra, who is Ajith's public relations officer. Arjun fondly remembered working closely with Ajith on marketing and promotional activities, including being the person who uploaded the teaser for Ajith's film Veeram (2014).
In his announcement, Arjun expressed how it feels like life has come full circle, mentioning that Ajith had called him after the success of Master to discuss a potential collaboration. He concluded his note by dedicating his role in Good Bad Ugly to Ajith, stating, "Ajith sir, this one's for you, and because of you." He also extended his gratitude to Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind Ajith's 63rd film, for this incredible opportunity.
Arjun Das, known for his recent performance in Santhakumar's Rasavathi, is also set to appear in Once More, directed by debutant Vignesh Srikanth.
Good Bad Ugly began production in Hyderabad earlier this year and has since moved to Spain. The film marks a reunion between Ajith Kumar and Trisha, who last appeared together in the 2015 film Yennai Arindhaal. Their previous collaborations include notable projects like Mankatha (2011), Kireedam (2007), and Ji (2005). Prasanna will also feature prominently in the film.
The technical crew for Good Bad Ugly includes music composer Devi Sri Prasad, cinematographer Abinandan Ramanujam, editor Vijay Velukutty, and action choreographer Supreme Sundar. Fans can look forward to the film's release, scheduled for Pongal 2025, following Ajith's previous film, the H Vinoth action drama Thunivu, which also premiered on Pongal 2023.
