Actor Arun Vijay recently penned an emotional thank-you note to director Bala following a private screening of their much-anticipated film Vanangaan. In his message, Arun Vijay reflected on his experience of watching the film on the big screen. While he struggled to fully immerse himself in the story during filming, the screening left a significant impact on him. The actor also shared that his family, who attended the screening, also loved the film.
Arun Vijay extended his heartfelt thanks to Bala for offering him the opportunity to be part of the project and to producer Suresh Kamatchi for his continued support. He concluded by expressing his excitement to bring Vanangaan to audiences soon and look forward to the feedback from fans.
The film, which was awarded a U/A certificate, teases a gripping revenge thriller. In Vanangaan, Arun Vijay portrays a character who is wrongfully imprisoned for a crime he did not commit and later seeks revenge for the sexual abuse of his sister. His role in the film is particularly intriguing, as the trailer hints at him portraying a mute character with no dialogue.
Vanangaan features an ensemble cast that includes Roshni Prakash as the female lead, alongside Samuthirakani and Mysskin in pivotal roles. The supporting cast includes Ridha, Chhaya Devi, Bala Sivaji, Shanmugarajan, Dr. Yohan Chacko, Kavitha Gopi, Brindha Sarathy, Mai Pa Narayanan, Aruldass, and Munish Sivagurunath. The film’s music is composed by GV Prakash, with RB Gurudev handling cinematography and Sathish Suriya editing. Silva choreographed the action sequences, and Sam CS was recently added to the team for the film’s background score.
Produced by Suresh Kamatchi under V House Productions, Vanangaan completed production in April and is gearing up for its release.
