The trailer for Black, starring Jiiva and Priya Bhavani Shankar, has dropped just days after the announcement of the film by debut director Balasubramani. The story follows a happy couple who move into a villa in a large, empty township. However, things quickly spiral into chaos when they notice suspicious activity in another house, leading to a terrifying home invasion. The trailer hints at both horror and thriller elements, leaving viewers to wonder what’s truly targeting the couple.
Director Balasubramani explained the theme behind Black, stating that darkness can represent the hidden aspects of human nature, making us difficult to understand. The film takes place over the course of a single night, packed with suspense and high-stakes moments.
Produced by Potential Studios, Black features a talented technical crew, including cinematographer Gokul Benoy, music by Sam CS, and editing by Philomin Raj. The film promises to deliver a gripping, racy thriller centered on mystery and suspense.
