The makers of Jayam Ravi's much-anticipated film Brother released the official trailer on Monday, offering fans a glimpse of what to expect. The over two-minute trailer features Jayam Ravi as a law student who hasn’t yet graduated, portraying him as an adorable troublemaker who creates chaos in both his family life and beyond.
The storyline takes an interesting turn when he travels to Ooty, where he meets his love interest and continues to stir up trouble. Directed by Rajesh M, Brother seems to center around the comedic chaos the male lead generates in his quest to achieve what he wants.
The film boasts a talented supporting cast, including Priyanka Mohan, Bhoomika Chawla, Saranya Ponvannan, VTV Ganesh, Natty, Seetha, Achyuth Kumar, MS Bhaskar, Rao Ramesh, and Suresh Chakravarthy. However, detailed plot specifics are still under wraps, keeping audiences curious.
The music for Brother is composed by Harris Jayaraj, marking his fourth collaboration with Jayam Ravi, following Dhaam Dhoom (2008), Engeyum Kadhal (2011), and Vanamagan (2017), as well as his second collaboration with director Rajesh after Oru Kal Oru Kannadi (2012).
The technical team includes cinematographer Vivekanand Santhosham and editor Abisish Joseph, contributing to the film's overall quality. Brother is produced under the banner of Screen Scene Media Entertainment and is set to release on Diwali day, October 31. The film will face competition at the box office from Sivakarthikeyan's Amaran and Kavin's Bloody Beggar, making it a highly anticipated festive release.
