As post-production work for Vettaiyan progresses, a new image from the set has been shared to celebrate Fahadh Faasil's birthday. The picture shows Fahadh alongside Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan. Earlier, a character poster of Fahadh from the film was also released by Lyca Productions.
Directed by TJ Gnanavel, known for Jai Bhim (2021), the much-anticipated film features an ensemble cast including Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, Rithika Singh, and VJ Rakshan. The film marks the reunion of Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth after 33 years since their last collaboration in Hum (1991).
Rajinikanth has already completed his portions of the shoot, and the film's music is composed by Anirudh, marking his fourth project with the superstar. With cinematography by SR Kathir and editing by Philomin Raj, Vettaiyan is slated for an October release, though the exact date is yet to be announced.
