Director H Vinoth, who is set to direct Vijay's final film Thalapathy 69, recently attended an event where he shared his definition of a good movie. Speaking at the trailer launch of director Sasikumar's Nandhan, Vinoth offered a deeper perspective on filmmaking, stating that for him, a good film is one that transforms a person into a better human being, rather than one that relies on a big budget, star power, or box office success. His statement, captured in a video that quickly went viral on social media, garnered positive reactions from netizens.
This discussion about what makes a good film comes shortly after a major update on Thalapathy 69, Vijay’s final movie, was shared. A promotional video released on September 13, 2024, honored the iconic actor as he prepares for his final role.
Thalapathy 69 has already sparked excitement among fans, with rumors suggesting that Simran may reunite with Vijay after two decades, and Bollywood actress Pooja Hegde could join the cast again, following her appearance in Beast. Additionally, it is speculated that Bobby Deol has been signed on to play the antagonist in the film. The makers are expected to release more details about the project on September 14, 2024.
With Vinoth at the helm and an impressive cast rumored, Thalapathy 69 is poised to be a highly anticipated final chapter in Vijay’s cinematic journey.
