Director-actor Gautham Vasudev Menon has been added to the ensemble cast of Thalapathy 69, the highly anticipated film starring Vijay and directed by H Vinoth. Menon will share the screen with notable actors Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, and Mamitha Baiju, with additional cast announcements expected soon.
As Vijay's final film before his foray into politics, Thalapathy 69 is drawing considerable attention. The music for the film will be composed by Anirudh, while other technical crew details remain undisclosed. Produced by Venkat K Narayana of KVN Productions, with Jagadish Palanisamy and Lohith NK as co-producers, the project is already creating buzz.
In his recent projects, Gautham Vasudev Menon appeared in Vijay Antony's Hitler and has upcoming films like Vetrimaaran's Viduthalai Part 2, set for release on December 20. He is also collaborating with Mammootty on Bazooka and directing the investigative thriller Dominic and the Ladies' Purse. Additionally, he has the unreleased film Dhruva Natchathiram: Chapter One – Yuddha Kaandam awaiting its debut.
