The lyrical video of 'En Chella Kedi,' a romantic song from the Jiiva-Priya Bhavani Shankar starrer Black, dropped recently. Composed by Sam CS and featuring vocals by Kapil Kapilan and Ranina Reddy, the song adds a romantic touch to this thriller film.
The trailer of Black introduces the story of a couple who are the first to move into a villa in a large, unoccupied township. Their peaceful life takes a terrifying turn when they notice strange lights in another house, leading to a series of frightening events. The trailer suggests a mix of horror and home invasion thriller elements as the plot unravels.
Director Balasubramani explained that the film explores the theme of "black," symbolizing both literal darkness and the hidden aspects of human nature. The movie revolves around one night of intense events that impact the couple.
Produced by Potential Studios, Black features a talented crew, including cinematographer Gokul Benoy, editor Philomin Raj, stunt choreographer Metro Mahesh, and music by Sam CS. Lyricists Madhan Karky and Chandru, along with choreographer Sherif, also contribute to the project. The film is set to hit theaters on October 11.
