On Friday, social media was rife with rumors about Aranmanai 5, prompting a response from Khusbhu Sundar, one of the producers and the wife of Sundar C.
In her social media statement, Khusbhu clarified that the ongoing discussions about the fifth film are unfounded. She expressed her frustration over the misinformation, stating, "There have been a lot of speculations and news circulating about the successful and the biggest entertainer of Tamil cinema, #Aranmanai, getting ready for its 5th franchise. Pictures, star cast, first look, poster designs, and all. Everything is fake." She cautioned that anyone engaging in business concerning this rumored project would be doing so at their own risk, indicating that official announcements would be made once the film is actually in the works.
Khusbhu also teased fans about her upcoming project, stating, "Till then, await #GANGERS. Coming soon," referring to the new film starring Sundar C and Vadivelu.
Aranmanai 4, which was both directed by and starred Sundar C, premiered in May and has garnered significant attention as a successful entry in the franchise.
