The lyrical video for "Yenga Poniyo" from Deepavali Bonus offers a beautifully animated portrayal of the song's heartfelt themes. In the video, rather than featuring the film’s actors Vikranth and Riythvika, the visuals focus on an animated scene of two parent birds gracefully soaring across a sky illuminated by fireworks as they bring food to their baby bird. This tender imagery underscores the emotional core of Deepavali Bonus, evoking themes of care, family, and togetherness. The song, composed and written by Maria Jerald, is brought to life by Akshaya Ramanath’s vocals, adding a gentle yet stirring resonance to the film’s storyline.
Deepavali Bonus, written and directed by Jeyabal J., revolves around themes similar to the 2023 film Kidaa, a family-centric drama that starred Poo Ramu and Kaali Venkat. The film’s story focuses on familial bonds and the spirit of resilience, connecting with viewers on a profound level. Produced by Deepak Kumar Tala under Sri Ankali Parameswari Productions, the film is backed by a skilled technical team, with Maria Jerald composing the soundtrack, Gautham Sethuram handling cinematography, Parthiv Murugan in charge of editing, and Arun overseeing the art direction.
Released today, Deepavali Bonus has been well-received by audiences and critics alike, earning praise for its feel-good narrative and the depth of its emotional storytelling. The film is already being celebrated for its ability to capture the essence of family values while also presenting a visually engaging experience.
