Actors Arjun Das and Aditi Shankar are set to pair up for the first time in the romantic film Once More, directed by debutant filmmaker Vignesh Srikanth. The film, which is scheduled for release on Valentine's Day in 2025, has generated buzz with the recent launch of its first single, "Miss Oruthi," on Thursday. This romantic number is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab and features vocals by Naresh Iyer, with lyrics penned by Srikanth himself.
Once More is billed as an out-and-out romantic film infused with elements of a fun-filled family drama. The film is produced by Yuvaraj Ganesan of Million Dollar Studios, the same banner behind the successful films Good Night and Lover. Co-producing the project is VR Vamsi of FYNTEMAX, further enhancing the film's production pedigree.
Interestingly, the title Once More shares its name with a 1997 hit film starring Sivaji Ganesan, Simran, Saroja Devi, and Manivannan, directed by the veteran director-actor SA Chandrasekhar, who is also Vijay's father.
On the technical side, Once More features music by Hesham Abdul Wahab, who is making his entry into the Tamil film industry after achieving success with several popular songs in Malayalam and Telugu. The film’s cinematography is managed by Aravind Viswanathan, while editing is handled by Nash. Costume design is by Navadevi Rajkumar, and art direction is overseen by Raj Kamal, rounding out a talented team working on this anticipated project.
