The highly anticipated rom-com Miss You, starring Siddharth and Ashika Ranganath, has received a new release date of December 13. The film was initially set to release on November 29 but was postponed due to the weather forecast predicting heavy rains in Tamil Nadu. The new date coincides with the release of Soodhu Kavvum 2 in theatres.
Miss You brings Siddharth back to the rom-com genre after a considerable hiatus, with direction by N. Rajasekar, who is known for films like Mapla Singam and Kalathil Santhippom. The story, written by Rajasekar and Ashok R., features Ashika Ranganath in the female lead. Known for her notable performances in Kannada films such as Raambo 2, Madhagaja, and Raymo, Ashika makes her Tamil cinema debut with this film.
The movie also features an ensemble cast that includes Bala Saravanan, Karunakaran, Sastika, and Lollu Sabha Maaran. On the technical side, the film boasts music by Ghibran, cinematography by KG Venkatesh, and editing by Dinesh Ponraj. Miss You is produced by Samuel Mathew's marketing company, 7 Miles Per Second.
