The production team behind Vijay's 69th film, currently without a title, continues to unveil its cast, with Narain being the latest addition to the lineup. Directed by H Vinoth, this film, tentatively named Thalapathy 69, features an impressive ensemble that already includes Gautham Vasudev Menon, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, and Priyamani.
This collaboration marks Narain's debut alongside Vijay in a feature film, and more casting announcements are anticipated as the project progresses. A recent promotional poster hinted at political themes with the tagline "The torch bearer of democracy," suggesting a narrative focused on these subjects.
On the technical side, Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music, while Venkat K Narayana of KVN Productions serves as the producer, supported by co-producers Jagadish Palanisamy and Lohith NK. Further details about the technical crew are expected to be revealed soon.
Thalapathy 69 is set for an October 2025 release. Meanwhile, Narain is also set to appear in Mysskin's upcoming project, Train, starring Vijay Sethupathi.
