Director Ponram, known for films like Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam and Rajinimurugan, is currently working on a new project featuring Shanmuga Pandian and Sarathkumar in the lead roles. The film, yet to be titled, has commenced shooting in Theni, a scenic district in southern Tamil Nadu.
The film’s cast includes Tharnika as the female lead, along with supporting roles played by Kaali Venkat and Kalki Raja. Shanmuga Pandian, the son of late actor-politician Vijayakanth, was last seen in the 2018 film Madura Veeran. Sarathkumar, a veteran actor, most recently appeared in Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan.
Music for the film will be composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with lyrics penned by Yugabharathi and Snekan. The technical team includes cinematographer Balasubramaniem, art director Saravana Abiraman, and editor Dinesh Ponraj. The film is being produced by Star Cinemas, marking their debut in film production.
With an ensemble cast and a talented crew, this upcoming venture has generated much anticipation, especially with the combination of Ponram's direction and Yuvan Shankar Raja's music. The film promises to offer an engaging cinematic experience, blending action, drama, and entertainment.
