On the occasion of Raghava Lawrence's birthday, the title of his 25th film was revealed as Kaala Bhairava, directed by Ramesh Varma, known for his work on Rakshasudu and Khiladi. The film is billed as an epic action-adventure and pan-Indian superhero film. In the promotional material, Lawrence showcases a fierce look against a backdrop featuring religious elements like a snake and the idol of Kala Bhairava.
Kaala Bhairava is being produced by Koneru Satyanaratana under A Studios LLP, in collaboration with Neeladri Productions and Hawwish Productions. This marks the third collaboration between the producer and director, following their successful projects Rakshasudu and Khiladi.
Filming for Kaala Bhairava is scheduled to commence in November 2024, with the makers targeting a summer 2025 release in both Tamil and Telugu. In addition to this project, Raghava Lawrence is also working on Adhigaaram, directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar and written by Vetrimaaran, and Benz, directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan, both of which are at various stages of production.
