With only weeks remaining until Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated film, Vettaiyan, hits theaters, Lyca Productions has been gradually revealing the character looks of the film’s cast. The latest update confirms that Rana Daggubati will play the role of Natraj in this action-packed drama. Behind-the-scenes shots of Daggubati in character have also been shared.
The film features a star-studded cast, including Ritika Singh as the cop Roopa, Dushara Vijayan as Saranya, and Manju Warrier as Thara, Rajinikanth’s on-screen wife. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, Vettaiyan also stars Amitabh Bachchan, making his Tamil film debut, alongside Fahadh Faasil. This marks the long-awaited reunion of Bachchan and Rajinikanth after their last collaboration in Hum in 1991.
The cast has recently completed dubbing for their roles. The film boasts a musical score by Anirudh, marking his fourth collaboration with Rajinikanth. The technical team includes cinematographer SR Kathir and editor Philomin Raj.
Scheduled for release on October 10, Vettaiyan will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada, promising a diverse cinematic experience.
