Filmmaker Sakthivel, known for his previous works EGO and Kandhakottai, is back with his next film, Ring Ring. The makers have officially announced that the film has cleared its censorship formalities with a 'U/A' certificate.
Following the success of Love Today, which featured a phone-swapping concept in relationships, Ring Ring takes this idea further by exploring the concept of phone swapping after marriage. This fresh take on the concept promises to bring a mix of humor and mystery to the big screen.
The film stars Vivek Prasanna, Sakshi Agarwal, Daniel Annie Pope, Praveen, Arjunan, Swayam Siddha, Sahana, and Jamuna in key roles. Entirely shot in an expansive set located in Chennai's ECR (East Coast Road), Ring Ring is expected to offer audiences an engaging cinematic experience with its unique blend of elements.
The technical crew behind the film includes cinematographer Prasad, music composer Vasanth, art director Dinesh, editor PK, and lyricist P Hariharan. Ring Ring is produced by Jegan Narayanan and Shakthivel under the banners Diya Cine Creations and Rule Breakers Productions.
Set to release on January 3, 2025, Ring Ring is shaping up to be an interesting addition to the genre, with its intriguing storyline and ensemble cast. Fans are eagerly awaiting the film's release, expecting it to captivate audiences with its quirky and mysterious narrative.
