Actor Siddharth, who is busy promoting his upcoming Tamil film Miss You, has found himself at the center of controversy following some of his recent remarks. One comment that has drawn significant attention is his comparison of the crowd at the Pushpa 2 event in Patna to a gathering around a construction site when a JCB arrives.
In an interview with YouTuber Madan Gowri, Siddharth discussed his views on crowd gatherings in India, explaining that large crowds are not necessarily a sign of quality or significance. He said that even a construction site will attract a crowd when a JCB machine arrives, highlighting that such gatherings are not always meaningful. Responding to a question about the footfall at the Pushpa 2 event, he emphasized that crowds don't equate to quality, adding, "If that's the case, then every politician who can attract crowds should win elections, which is not the case."
His comments have sparked a wave of criticism, especially in relation to the success of Pushpa 2. Siddharth's earlier response to criticism of his role in Indian 2 has also riled up a section of social media users, further fueling the controversy.
