During the audio launch of his upcoming action film Amaran, Sivakarthikeyan recalled a memorable incident with Ajith Kumar following the release of his 2022 film Prince, which didn’t perform well at the box office. Sivakarthikeyan, feeling disheartened by the response, shared how Ajith’s words uplifted him. Ajith had said, "Welcome to the big league. People are noticing your growth and feeling insecure." Sivakarthikeyan initially didn't understand the significance of this but later realized it was a reminder that success invites both praise and criticism. He reflected that true support comes when people offer constructive feedback, not when they declare one's career over.
Sivakarthikeyan’s recent cameo in Vijay’s GOAT also sparked conversations, with some hailing him as the future of Tamil cinema, while others expressed differing opinions. The discussions added to his growing stature in the industry.
Amaran, directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, features a talented technical crew, including music composer GV Prakash Kumar, cinematographer CH Sai, editor Kalaivanan, and stunt director Stefan Richter. The film is co-produced by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures International Productions. Amaran is set to release this Diwali, on October 31.
