After much anticipation, the makers of Soodhu Kavvum 2: Naadum Naatu Makkalum have officially announced the film’s release window this December. The film, starring Shiva in the lead role, is set to bring back the quirky and dark humor of its predecessor. A motion poster was shared along with the exciting announcement, with the producers teasing, "The gang is set to kidnap you all to theatres this December. Soodhu Kavvum 2 lands worldwide with double the twists, double the laughs."
Directed by SJ Arjun, Soodhu Kavvum 2 is the much-awaited sequel to the 2013 hit black comedy crime film, which was directed by Nalan Kumarasamy and featured a stellar cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Bobby Simha, and Ashok Selvan. The sequel brings a fresh set of characters into the mix, including Harisha, Radha Ravi, MS Bhaskar, Karate Karthi, Ramesh Thilak, Aruldoss, Kalki, and Kavi.
The script for Soodhu Kavvum 2 was penned by SJ Arjun and T Yogaraja. The film's technical team includes music by Edwin Louis Viswanath, cinematography by Karthik K Thillai, and editing by Ignatious Aswin.
